- In germany CBM is a well respected make of computer. Escom offered $1M
- just for the rights to use the name. What they spent to get the amiga
- and the CBM trademark was peanuts to a company the size of Escom. If I
- had a decent lottery win, I could (and possibly would) have put a bigger
- bid in than Escom did.
